What promises would you make so ensure that your dead mother would return? Would you be friends with the daughter of a psychic? Even if she lived in a empty van? Even if she insisted on garbage picking at night? No matter how Grandmother Margaret, Refrigerator John, and Madame Dufee try to help, David and his friend Primrose must figure this out on their own.

Eggs is children’s theater with substance: a touching, compelling adaptation of Jerry Spinelli’s novel about a friendship between two lonely misfit children. --Bill Murphy Broad Street Review
